With nearly three decades of experience as a visionary serial entrepreneur, Torsten now serves as an Advisor for the ZONTAL team, contributing to the continued growth and success of ZONTAL.

Torsten founded OSTHUS GmbH and skillfully steered the company’s evolution into a dynamic ecosystem. Under his leadership, OSTHUS GmbH provided comprehensive digital consulting services and pioneered digital product startups for Life Sciences R&D in the United States, China, and Germany.

Torsten’s primary focus lies in propelling digital transformation to catalyze seamless innovation in data and process automation. His passion is to empower individuals, teams, and organizations throughout their digitalization journey.

In 1996, Antje joined OSTHUS as a student worker and steadily advanced through roles as a Software Developer, Project Manager, and eventually becoming the Head of Solutions,where she led the development and delivery of all software projects within OSTHUS.

With a passion and talent for leadership, Antje played an instrumental role in shaping the ZONTAL organization from its inception. Her diverse involvement in various capacities from the project’s outset underscored her indispensable contribution to its success. After ZONTAL emerged as a standalone entity, Antje seamlessly transitioned to the role of COO at ZONTAL GmbH in 2021.

As COO, Antje oversees operations spanning US, Germany, and China, demonstrating her adeptness in managing multicultural teams and spearheading strategic initiatives. Notably, under her leadership, the team in China experienced remarkable growth, expanding from 8 to 30 members. Antje implemented the SCRUM methodology and facilitated comprehensive training programs, cultivating a highly skilled workforce capable of meeting the demands of the ever-evolving industry landscape.

Bill is a dynamic sales leader with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and fostering strategic partnerships. Currently serving as the Vice President of Sales at ZONTAL, he has been instrumental in guiding sales strategies and achieving remarkable growth.

With extensive experience spanning various industries and roles, including positions at Arxspan, IDBS, Core Informatics, and NuGenesis, Bill brings a wealth of expertise in building client relationships and delivering tailored solutions. His commitment to excellence has made him a trusted partner for clients worldwide.

Dan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management and corporate marketing. Currently serving as the Vice President of Corporate Marketing at ZONTAL, he leads strategic initiatives to enhance brand visibility and drive market growth. Additionally, as the Vice President of Product Management, he plays a pivotal role in shaping product strategies and driving innovation to meet the evolving needs of customers.

With a proven track record of success in various industries, Dan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. Prior to joining ZONTAL, he held leadership positions at reputable companies such as BIOVIA, Scitara Corporation, and LabVoice, where he led product management teams and played a key role in launching innovative solutions for scientific laboratories.

Dan’s multifaceted background, coupled with his strategic vision and strong leadership skills, makes him valuable asset to any organization striving for growth and innovation in today’s dynamic marketplace.

Gordon is an accomplished IT leader with almost 30 years of experience and a strong track record of success. Formerly serving as the Global Head of IT Operations and Support at IQVIA, he oversaw a team of over 300 staff and managed an operational budget of $23 million. His previous experience also includes serving as Director of IT Product Development for Quintiles Global Central Laboratories. His contributions ensured seamless operations for over 54,000 employees and external customers, with a focus on regulatory compliance, system operational health and operational efficiency.

Currently serving as the Vice President of SaaS Operations & Support at ZONTAL, Gordon continues to drive excellence in IT operations and support, leveraging his extensive experience and expertise.

Loren is a seasoned professional with nearly two decades of experience in the biotechnology and biopharmaceutical industries, bringing expertise in both bench science and software delivery. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Science and Product at BenchSci, where he led the development of a cutting-edge biomedical AI product used by 15 of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies to accelerate R&D efforts. His leadership extended to managing both Science and Product Management teams.

Loren’s experience spans software delivery and scientific consulting, with leadership roles at Riffyn (LIMS software) and Benchling (ELN software), where he oversaw key delivery functions. Prior to transitioning into software, Loren’s scientific expertise was rooted in analytical chemistry, quality, manufacturing, and statistical analysis. He holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of California, San Diego, and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Harvey Mudd College.

Yan is a highly experienced technology executive with a proven track record of leading and transforming technology organizations across diverse industries, including biotech, media, telecommunications, and finance. She has a deep understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud computing, AI/ML, and data analytics, along with a strong passion for building and scaling high-performing teams.

Yan’s expertise spans strategic planning and execution, technology transformation, M&A, and team development. She has successfully led the creation and implementation of innovative, scalable solutions in a range of environments, from startups to large enterprises. Most recently, she has spearheaded the strategic tech transition to a GenAI-powered platform, leveraging LLMs and multimodal AI to deliver cutting-edge solutions for the pharmaceutical industry.
