Your Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, document, and test software modules, e.g. data parsers, visualizers, data models
- Develop and maintain responsive and user-friendly dashboards using the Dash framework and other relevant technologies
- Perform system and data integration, processing, and interpretation
- Perform profiling and performance analysis
- Create parsers to convert raw data files from numerous and varied laboratory instruments into structured data
- Adhere to best practices in coding, documentation, and testing
- Create and update products working in a Scrum Team according to user stories created by the Product Owners
- Develop and deploy data pipelines running within Kubernetes
Your Background:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, engineering, bioinformatics, or comparable field
- Proven experience in developing applications using the Dash framework and Python
- Proficiency with Python programming language
- Experience with data visualization libraries like Plotly
- Experience using Linux
- Strong coding skills
- Strong mathematical background
- A portfolio or examples of previous Dash projects is a plus
- Scientific background i.e. understanding of chemistry and biology laboratory techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with cloud architectures and development (AWS)
- Familiarity with data science and machine learning concepts is a bonus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of spoken and written English
- Ability to work with a diverse team across many time zones
